1982 – 1987 Study in Solid State Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Slovak Technical University, Bratislava, Slovakia.

PhD

1989 – 1993 PhD study in Condensed Matter Theory at The International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA), Trieste, Italy under supervision of Prof. E. Tosatti.

Postdoctoral fellowships

1993 – 1994 Post-Doctoral Fellow in the group of Prof. E. Tosatti, International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Trieste, Italy.
